When Wes texted me asking if I was available to photograph his proposal to Claire, I didn’t think it was actually going to happen. I legitimately asked him if I was being punked! I didn’t believe it until I saw the ring. I met Wes and Claire when they joined the small group that Mike and I lead through The Summit Church.

On a warm September evening in Raleigh, I snuck behind some bushes at the park of the North Carolina Museum of Art and found Wes and Claire enjoying a picnic dinner date.
