When the bride asks, “can you take a photo of us on the unicorn?”, you KNOW you’ve just captured one of the best weddings ever!

Back in May, Archer and I went down to Holden Beach North Carolina to capture the wedding of Sarah and Eric. What started as a bit of a hectic day for us (it’s helpful to know the gate code when you’re heading into a venue in a gated community) turned out to be one of the most fun weddings we’ve ever been to! The rain may have forced us all inside for the ceremony, but the sky apologized by creating the most beautiful backdrops for us when we snuck out for some golden hour photos. They were definitely worth the 30+ bug bites I received that day.

There were such fun details that these two threw into their day, ranging from customized caricature flasks for the groomsmen, to a father-in-law/daughter-in-law and mother-in-law/son-in-law dance, to a unicorn shaped pool floaty! Also, we’ve NEVER seen so many people on the dance floor for so long. It was such a fun night! Here are a few of our favorites. 🙂
