Originally I was going to meet the McKenzie family on a Saturday morning during golden hour. We ended up getting rained out, so we rescheduled for Sunday afternoon, and I think it’s safe to say we hit the jackpot with lighting!

There were lots of other photographers at Umstead Park that day, so we met in the parking lot and then headed down to some of my favorite spots. Little Reese stole the show! This beautiful family have such love for each other and it was a joy to capture some memories for them.
